StormWorx Team - Richard Scarborough

While Richard has traveled the globe, he was born in Manteo, and has called the Triangle home for most of his life.   Richard is former Navy, and has experience across various construction and engineering related positions.  It was during this time, Richard found his passion working to provide solutions through construction while taking the most environmentally approach possible.

Prior to opening Stormworx, Richard was an original member of the Stormwater Division of Harris Engineering.  Richards past construction experience coupled with the understanding of the importance and need for environmetally consciencitious construction related to Stormwater, led to his desire of the opening of Stormworx, to provide solutions.  Past experiences also include POSITION (Cell Tower Company), POSITION (Company), and POSITION (John R. McAdams).  

Richard is a true outdoorsman, and spends more time outdoors than inside.  He loves camping, hiking, skiing, ice-fishing and riding horses.  He also loves traveling the world and even after leaving the military, has traveled overseas to Turkey, England, X, Y and Z.  Richard is a true people person and loves spending time with family, friends, and his furry babies on his farm (3 horses, his Boxer Layla and even a donkey).
